Good food and great service in a relaxed atmosphere. Be aware... the deserts are not for the faint of heart... I am a big eater, and I'll get 3 servings from their desserts.

The restaurant is in the middle of nowhere but it's worth the drive (20 miles for us). They have good solid fare such as burgers, chicken & biscuits, veal parmesan, liver with onions & bacon, fried haddock, etc. I've recently had the haddock baked in parmesan cheese and another night had pork chops with mashed potatoes & gravy (yum). My wife goes primarily for the desserts, especially the coconut creme pie. I like the carrot cake with a little whipped cream. Portions are huge so we usually have enough for several nights...The ambience is rustic but nice and clean. It's not a fancy restaurant but it's our favorite place to go during our summer stay in VT.

Discovered the Wheel Inn by chance as we were driving home from vacation and it was incredible! We ordered grilled cheese sandwiches, which were simple but delicious and really hit the spot. But the star of the show were the pies. The maple walnut pie in particular was incredible! We got a huge piece of pie with the most delicious maple filling. Truly one of the tastiest pies I've ever eaten! Service was lovely and quick

This is the perfect Vermont restaurant. Great food, great service and awesome atmosphere. And the price are reasonable all things considered. I order a burger followed typically by pie or bread pudding a la mode. Best ever.

The food and atmosphere here were amazing! Everyone on staff was fantastic too! My husband had the Jambalaya and I had the Steak...and finished it off with the 3-Berry Pie...A-Maz-zing! Thank you, we needed it after a long flight from the west coast!

Best Cole slaw this side of the Mason Dixon. Gluten free bread too! Apparently this review is too short, and I have to keep writing.

A drive to the middle of nowhere brought us to this breakfast joint. Rustic, but very clean and well kept, the menu was just what we were looking for. We even started with a home made chocolate eclair which was to die for. I opted for the house made corned beef hash (just right, not too salty or greasy) while my wife ordered the sausage gravy and biscuits (massive!) The prices were a bit high, but considering the quality of the food, we didn't mind. We were amused by the locals who seemed to be related to the staff or owners who played with a cat and walked into the stock room. All in all, it was a very good breakfast, with a bit of local flavor.
